Capital Improvements

Protecting, Preserving and Enhancing the Future of America’s Stadium

The Rose Bowl

As a National Historic Landmark, providing visitors and fans with premier facilities and resources to mold a lasting, safe, and emotional connection at Rose Bowl Stadium and within the Central Arroyo is of the utmost importance. It is the core of Legacy’s mission and is the principle of which the non-profit organization was founded on in 2010.

Ways to Give

Legacy Foundation Efforts

The core of our efforts are rooted in ensuring physical, positive change at the venue through private, philanthropic support. The Foundation is one of the key capital funding sources of the protection, preservation and enhancement of the National Historic Landmark known as America’s Stadium.

Also listed as a California Civil Engineering Landmark, the Rose Bowl has hosted five Super Bowls, two Olympiads (another in 2028), two World Cup Finals and many more historic moments, global concerts, music festivals and mega international soccer matches. The near-century young venue needs updates within several areas of its operational infrastructure to best support the event-day experience and its future.

The landscape of sports and entertainment in the Los Angeles region continues to change and is more competitive than ever before, so the generation of private, philanthropic funding to support the Stadium’s future is essential to continuing to position the venue’s vibrant future.

While amplifying the many areas that vibrantly keep the venue and the City of Pasadena as one of the first-class sports and entertainment destinations for all demographics, the continued improvement of all areas deserves consideration to maintain the status and national credibility of all areas.
